• Account information — name and email address via Google OAuth sign-in.
• Documents — PDF files you upload for translation.
• Payment information — processed by Razorpay; we do not store card details.
• Usage data — page counts, job status, and basic analytics.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your documents are used solely to perform the requested translation. Account and usage data are used to operate the service, process payments, and improve reliability.

3. Data Retention

Uploaded documents and translated files are retained for 24 hours after processing, then automatically deleted. Account information is retained while your account is active.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate TranslateKaro:

• Sarvam AI — OCR extraction and text translation.
• Anthropic (Claude) — OCR error correction and translation review.
• Google OAuth — authentication.
• Razorpay — payment processing.
• Cloudflare R2 — temporary file storage.
• Sentry — error monitoring (no document content is sent).

Each service processes data according to its own privacy policy. Document content is sent to Sarvam AI and Anthropic for translation purposes only.

5. Your Rights

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Uploaded documents are automatically deleted within 24 hours regardless.

6. Cookies

We use essential session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Security

All connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Files are stored in encrypted cloud storage and deleted after 24 hours. Payment data is handled by Razorpay and never touches our servers.
